iStudentCity is an international community,
built by international students, for international students. We opened our "city
gates" in July 2000, after carefully laying out the streets and raising the buildings. When you
visit our fair city, take some time to wander around its many squares, gardens, and markets;
you will find some pleasant surprises.
iStudentCity brings you a complete range of information, products, and services to help you make
the most of your time as an international student.
If you are just starting to consider studying in the U.S., or if you've been here for years, we can
bring you everything you need to make it all happen easily, effectively, and inexpensively.
We bring international students together. Think
of our virtual community as a global town square where
people from all over the world meet to exchange ideas, to share advice, or
just to get to know each other. And our staff of experts will also be there, ready to help.
We've done the research for you. Come to us to find out everything you want to know
to make it through all the stages of the international student life cycle, or maybe just to find out the
latest news. Whether you need a check-list of what to pack when you move to the U.S., or detailed information
on what type of insurance you will be required to buy, we have it ready for you.
We bring everything you need into one place. We are the one-stop source for services and products that
meet the very special needs of international students in the U.S. Catch up
on the latest movies or music from back home. Buy phone cards or even a cell phone. Brush up your English skills,
and even your American slang. Learn how to cut your insurance costs. Find out how to get a job in the U.S.
Or just do a little window-shopping!
We keep you up-to-date. iStudentCity Life -
the "local newspaper" of iStudentCity - brings you
news of new services, special online events, featured
articles on surviving and thriving in America, and tips
on learning real American English.
We listen to you. If you don't find what you're looking for, let the "city council" know!
