Smart Calls Will Save You Lots of Time!
We Tell You How.
Frightened by dialing too many numbers?

Many telephones let users store frequently-used phone numbers in the phone's memory. To dial these numbers, users only need to press the associated memory button, and the phone will automatically dial the stored number for them.

For most inexpensive phones:

  1. Store the 1-800 number for your phone card, the PIN number, and the long distance phone number you call most often on three separate memory buttons.
  2. In order to call the long distance number, press the first memory button and wait until the electronic operator picks up the phone and ask for your PIN number.
  3. Press the second memory button and wait until the electronic operator instructs you to enter the phone number you would like to call.
  4. Press the third memory button.

On some business phones, you may be able to store the
1-800 number, the PIN number, and the long distance number in one memory location by using the "pause" feature between each number sequence. Please refer to your phone's manual for instructions.
